Zahid Law – Family Law Firm Toronto

Summary

A full website rebuild was required as Zahid Law’s current WordPress website had been compromised due to security vulnerabilities. The hacked website disrupted the firm's online presence, damaged its credibility and created uncertainty for prospective clients seeking access to legal services.
We saved the website content where possible and created a modern replacement in Figma and reworked the whole platform with Next.js and Sanity CMS. The project included enhanced website security, improved performance, mobile-first development, technical SEO, local search optimization and advanced lead tracking. The end result is a secure, high performance website, built to support long term growth, and that gives the firm total confidence in its online presence.

Problem

A website is an absolute must for all law firms for establishing credibility and generating new enquiries. Zahid Law had a WordPress website but it was unfortunately more of a liability than an asset.
The firm’s online presence was disrupted and credibility damaged after the site was hacked due to outdated plugins and poor website security. The experience of unreliable broken pages that visitors encountered made it difficult for potential clients to trust the firm.
The website had some useful legal content but rebuilding from scratch meant losing years of work. This content was one of the biggest parts of the project to get back.
Even before the security breach the website was slow to load, had an outdated design and lacked a local SEO strategy.

Finally, there was hardly any conversation tracking in place which resulted in the firm having a limited insight in how visitors interacted with the website and how they found it. All of these problems nullified the marketing efforts of the firm.
Solution
Our first step was to recover as much valuable content as possible from the hacked website before we went into a full redesign in Figma. The new interface was designed to better represent the firm’s professionalism while improving usability and navigation.
We rebuilt the entire platform using Next.js and Sanity CMS rather than patching up the old WordPress site. This modern technology stack offers better security, dramatically faster performance and a more scalable content management system.
The website was built using a mobile-first approach and optimised using modern performance techniques to improve load speeds across all devices.
We used EEAT principles and YMYL-compliant content as a basis for the content strategy and applied technical SEO across the site. Created dedicated city landing pages to improve local search visibility.
We implemented data layer tracking, UTM parameters, CallRail Dynamic Number Insertion and custom Next.js forms integrated directly with Clio to improve marketing performance and allow the firm to better measure and automate client enquiries.
Additional work is also underway to optimize the firm’s Google Business Profile to further build its local online presence.

Results

The finished platform gives Zahid Law a secure, future-proof website on modern technology instead of an old WordPress installation.
Much faster loading times and smoother navigation give visitors a professional user experience and better reflect the firm’s reputation. “Better performance means less friction and a stronger first impression for prospective clients.
The foundation has been built for continued organic growth and a better visibility in local search results through technical SEO improvements, dedicated local landing pages, EEAT principles and YMYL-focused content.
They also optimized calls to action, analytics, CallRail tracking and intake forms integrated with Clio. This has significantly improved lead generation, giving the firm better insight into marketing performance and a streamlined client onboarding process.
