A Case Study For Bick Law LLP
We built a high speed law firm website demo with built-in lead qualification and Clio-integrated client portal, improving efficiency and reducing paralegal costs.
The Woodlands is a township of more than 120,000 people, 28 miles north of Houston on I-45, and it keeps a firm busy. Growth comes from further out, in Conroe, Spring, Houston and Atascocita.
We start where your inquiries already come from, then add each area as the results pay for it. The numbers from our first Texas client are on this page.
Most firms here grew on referrals and the corporate network. That works until the lawyer who built it stops taking new work, and then there is no channel underneath it.
So we start with questions before we touch a channel:
The results are from our client Meridian Legal Advisors, an estate planning and business law firm at 2002 Timberlock Pl. The figures are from that firm's own Google profile, measured over five months.
Marketing for The Woodlands firms comes down to one number: what did that signed case cost you? A firm working on a tight budget should not launch six channels at once. We test small, keep what signs cases, and put more behind it.
We connect GA4, Microsoft Clarity, call tracking, and your CRM or practice management system. Each signed case traces back to the ad, page, or referral that started it, including phone calls. Learn more about attribution and analytics
We cover your Google Business Profile, practice pages and technical fixes. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence. You cannot change how far away you are, so we work on the other two, one ZIP code and one service area at a time. See our SEO for The Woodlands, TX service for the detail.
Paid search buys speed while the pages build. We set bids around case value, block searches that never convert, and send signed-case data back to Google so bidding learns from retainers rather than form fills. Learn about paid search
A Woodlands client on a phone gives you a few seconds before they go back to the results. We build custom sites you own, fast enough to keep them, with one clear next step on every page. In our Bick Law LLP case study, page load fell from 12 seconds to under 2, and spam inquiries dropped by 96%. Learn about website design
We write answers to what Woodlands clients type before they call: cost, timelines, what to bring, and how a business dispute is handled. Then we track which pages lead to consultations and drop the ones that do not. Learn about content marketing
We structure your pages so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can read and quote them. We track those mentions next to your rankings. Learn about AI search optimization
AI chat and voice agents answer after hours, capture the practice area and location, and push the lead into your CRM. If you are comparing an answering service with an AI agent, we will show you what each one costs per signed case. Learn about AI chatbots and voice agents
Each practice area has a different client, a different search, and a different path to a signed retainer.
Woodlands family clients read several pages before they call, and many want to know about schools, the marital home, and timing before they want to talk about fees. Three school districts serve the township, which matters in a custody case. We build those pages and track which ones turn into consultations.
Injury terms are the most expensive clicks in legal search, so the paid results push everything else down the page. The site has to get a phone visitor to a call in one tap, before they go back to the results.
Defense inquiries arrive at night and on weekends. Pages have to load fast and answer what happens next, because the person is choosing a lawyer in the next few minutes.
Many Houston-area immigration clients search in a language other than English. We build full pages in each language you serve, with intake that logs the matter in English for your team.
The Woodlands has a concentration of households with real assets, so estate work is steady and referral-driven. Pages have to serve someone deciding months ahead, not someone with an urgent problem.
Bankruptcy clients compare fees and check whether they qualify. Clear fee pages and a short qualifying form answer both and sort leads before they reach your team.

Clear answers to the decisions shaping your practice's growth.
Most agencies report traffic, rankings and leads. We report which channel signed the case and what that case was worth. If a channel costs more than it returns, we tell you to cut it, even when it is one we run.
Most of what we quote depends on how many channels you run, what you already own, and how much of the job is connecting systems rather than building them.
What moves the number:
A firm with one practice area in one part of the township pays less than a firm covering four counties from three offices. We quote after the access review, because the review is what tells us which of those firms you are.
Plan on three to six months for early signals and six to twelve months for steady leads. A narrow ZIP or community term moves faster than a competitive injury term across the metro. We report on position and profile data from month one, so you can see the work before the leads arrive.
Yes. Part VII of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct governs lawyer advertising, and your firm stays responsible for compliance. Three parts of it matter to a firm here.
Rule 7.02 bans anything false or misleading, including a comparison with another lawyer's services unless it rests on verifiable, objective data, and any claim about past results unless you were lead counsel and the money was actually received.
Rule 7.04 requires the name of a lawyer responsible for the content, and it restricts how you describe an office other than your principal one. That matters when a firm advertises an office in Conroe, Spring or Houston that it does not staff every day. Rule 7.07 requires the site and the ads to be filed with the State Bar's Advertising Review Committee before they first appear.
We write to those rules, avoid guarantees and superlatives, and send you the copy for written approval before anything goes live.
The township covers ZIP codes 77380 through 77386, and its eight named communities are Alden Bridge, Cochran's Crossing, College Park, Creekside Park, Grogan's Mill, Indian Springs, Panther Creek and Sterling Ridge.
We work the whole township, plus Spring to the south, Conroe to the north, and Magnolia and Tomball on the edges. If a meaningful share of your clients come from one community, that is where the first pages go.
It is part of greater Houston and not part of the City of Houston, and that difference shows up in search.
Search treats it like a city anyway: it has its own name, its own ZIP codes and its own local results. There is no city directory to be listed in and no single boundary Google works from. It is also large, at about 44 square miles, so a client in Creekside Park may be eight miles from a firm in Alden Bridge, and proximity moves the local results between them. And people here search with a community name or a ZIP code, which is why a profile that lists only "The Woodlands" misses a share of the demand.
Firms of every size, across personal injury, family law, criminal defense, immigration, estate planning and bankruptcy, plus the business and contract work the local corporate base creates. You are a fit if you match these criteria:
We are not a good fit if any of these apply:
Yes, and that is usually the second stage. The township already crosses the Montgomery and Harris county line, so a firm here is filing in two court systems before it markets outside its own boundary. The township keeps a firm busy without growing it, so the plan adds service areas once the work already running pays for them. Each area gets its own page, because each is its own search area. Conroe is the Montgomery County seat, so the litigation and probate work there looks different from The Woodlands. Spring, Atascocita and the Houston side sit against different ZIP codes and different competitors, and we take them in the order your inquiries already point to.
Yes. Each visitor sees a different phone number on your site, so a call can be traced to the visit that produced it. Calls and form fills both carry an external ID into your CRM, so the source stays attached even when more than one channel touched that person.
Usually. We work with Clio, MyCase, Lawmatics and Filevine regularly. Some tools restrict API access by plan, so we confirm what connects before we quote.
The platforms we build with, connect, and report from.

Four steps from the first call to a working plan.
A free 30-minute call. We look at your practice areas, the ZIP codes you draw from, and what the last twelve months produced.
View-only access to GA4, Microsoft Clarity, your ad accounts, and your CRM or practice management software.
We look at your current systems, covering every channel, agency, offline source, and custom tool you use.
You get a plan with the scope and timeline written down. We quote after the review, because the review is what tells us how much of the site has to be fixed before anything can rank.
Before you spend another month on content, find out which searches in the township go to other firms. We will map the results for your practice areas, name the firms sitting above you, and show you what to fix first.
Ask us anything about your market: ask@timetechnologiesllc.com
Between May and September 2026, search views on the firm's Google Business Profile rose from 66 to 296 a month, and interactions went from 9 to 67. The profile also started appearing for ZIP-level terms, including 77380, 77382 and 77384.
What it has not produced yet is calls. Of 210 interactions in those five months, most were direction requests and six were calls. That is the next problem to solve, and we would rather say it than count 210 interactions as 210 leads.
No. We take on a limited number of firms per market and never work for two firms targeting the same local area. If we take you on, we do not take your closest competitor.
We capture all the click IDs from ad platforms such as Google's GCLID, Meta's FBCLID, and others. Those are stored in the visitor's browser, and that source data travels with the lead through CallRail phone calls, forms, custom intake forms and chatbots into your CRM. Attribution is not limited to GCLID.
Usually, yes. We work with Clio, MyCase, Lawmatics and Filevine regularly. Some tools restrict API access by plan, so we confirm what connects before we quote.
Neither on its own. They do different jobs, and the order matters.
Google Ads works this month. You control the budget, you can raise or pause it any day, and within a week you can see which searches and practice areas sign cases. That is where you test.
SEO compounds. Moving a page into the top results takes three to six months, so there is nothing to test in a short window. What it does is keep working after the ad budget stops, and the cost per signed case falls as the pages age.
So we test with ads and build with search. The ad results tell us which searches deserve their own page.
Mapping Every Google and Meta Lead shows which channel produced each signed case, your cost per case and case value by channel, where intake lost inquiries, and which practice area is growing without extra spend.
Read-only access to GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Google Search Console, your ad accounts, and your CRM or practice management software. You never hand over admin rights to start.
No. We work with solo attorneys, small firms, mid-sized firms and firms with several practice groups. What changes with size is the plan. A solo firm wins by owning a few valuable searches in one community. A larger firm wins by covering more practice areas and ZIPs at scale.
More than most markets, because the township spans seven of them and the communities are large enough that people include the ZIP in a search. We have watched a Woodlands profile start appearing for terms like contract law attorney 77380 and business litigation attorney 77382.
The practical effect is that one page mentioning "The Woodlands" is not enough. The profile needs the service areas set correctly, the practice pages need the community and ZIP names where they belong, and the reviews and posts should reflect where the work actually comes from.
The township has more than 120,000 people, and the Census Bureau counts The Woodlands and Conroe as one urban area of about 400,000, separate from Houston's. Firms here already draw work from Conroe, Spring, Houston and Atascocita, so the market is bigger than the boundary.
It is also a corporate market. Occidental, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Huntsman, Baker Hughes, McKesson Specialty Health and Halliburton run operations here, and the ExxonMobil campus sits just south of the line. That produces business and contract work, employment disputes, commercial litigation and estate planning for people with real assets.
The client is harder to win than in most markets. Median household income is about $130,000 and nearly two thirds of adults hold a bachelor's degree or higher, so the person choosing a lawyer for a business dispute reads three firm websites before they call. A page that answers the fee question and the process question wins that comparison. A page that only says how long the firm has practised does not.
We look at your market, not at a slide deck. Who ranks for your terms, what your pages are missing, and where inquiries leak between the click and the CRM. You leave with a prioritized list whether or not you hire us.
